This modern custom engagement ring features a GIA certified 2.08 carat old European cut diamond.  It is rare to find an old European cut diamond of this quality.  Many of the best old European cut diamonds were recut into round brilliant cuts in the 1940s and 1950s, however this magnificent stone survived and is a G color and VVS2 clarity and is truly full of life.  The diamond is set in a simple yet classic 18K yellow gold band.  A diamond this good should not be obscured and the four prong mounting allows for full view of the stone and maximum radiance.  A true show stopper!
